In 2024, this design will celebrate its 10th anniversary. It was created during the summer vacation in 2014 in Montenegro. Instead of clothes, I packed half a suitcase of yarn, raising many questions from border guards. So, for Valentine’s Day, I decided to treat myself and recreate it. But that’s not all – I rewrote the pattern and added more sizes, so anyone can now replicate it as a summer top or use any sock yarn for a winter version.

MATERIALS:

Yarn: Cotton Kings Sultan by Hobbii, Fine,100% Cotton, 200 g (7.1 oz) / length 800 m (875 yds) – (1 cake (S-M), 2 cakes (L-XL), 3 cakes (2XL-3XL), 4 cakes (4XL-5XL).

Crochet Hook: 2,5 mm, US C/2, UK 12.

Gauge: Diameter of the first circle of hearts (from the top of the heart to the opposite top of the heart) – 12,5 cm (5 in).

Size: Width – (50 cm (19.7 in), 64 cm (25.2 in), 78 cm (30.7 in), 92 cm (36.2 in); length – (68 cm (26.8 in), 82 cm (32.3 in), 96 cm (37.8 in), 110 cm (43.3 in).

Stitches Used: ch(s) – chain(s), sl st – slip stitch, sc – single crochet, dc – double crochet, dc2(3,4)tog – 2(3,4) dc crochet together.
